Our Chuncho Cacao is an heirloom variety derived from carefully selected pods from trees that are 60 to 70 years old . Through a meticulous process of fermentation lasting 5-6 days and then dried in the shade. The Cacao seeds are ground into a smooth and rich paste and then formed into bars, capturing the essence of Peru's renowned cacao heritage.
